About

HI I’m Karen, an artist and photographer based currently in Oxford, UK. I love most types of photography, particularly travel and architecture and swapping between film and digital depending on the subject. I tend to use photography as a starting point for printmaking which is most often silkscreen or photo-etching. Although I’ve always been most at home in the bustle of the city, recent years have seen me become fascinated with landscapes particularly in Iceland which I have visited ten times so far. I also find writing about myself in the third person really impersonal so have tried to avoid that as much as possible.
